ECQ Favorite: Orell's by Pempeyo

Being stuck at home surely made resisting junk food an everyday challenge during the lockdown. I grew up snacking on chips and sweet stuff while lounging on the sofa as I  watched my favorite shows. Thankfully, I discovered a healthier alternative to satisfy my desire to snack.

I was gifted with some jars of Orell's bestselling products last week and I received it with zero expectations. But it immediately shot up when I heard from a friend that Orell's is one of the best in the market. 

And she's right! It's great. 

I loved how Orell's made its cuts so thin to give each bite that light but addictive crunch. 

The banana thins were beautifully glazed and each chip had that divine caramel color. I also loved that the chips were not stuck together. Plus points too for not being too sweet. 

But for those who want something sweeter, its cinnamon variant would be perfect. 

The cassava thins and taro thins were thinner and lighter in flavor but I liked those more than the two variants of banana thins. 

The cassava thins had that light sweet note which made it a guiltless pleasure for those who want a light snack.

I loved taro thins best as it was the one with the least flavor. It would be awesome with my favorite spinach and cheese dip which I'm planning to make soon. 

I wasn't able to try the potato thins and sweet potato thins but I heard that both are great too! I'll probably grab a few jars once I finish my stash.
