Sonic Drive-In in Stoughton Has Closed

A chain of drive-ins has closed another one of its locations in Eastern Massachusetts, and there is now only one remaining locally.

According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Sonic Drive-In in Stoughton is no longer in business, with a check on the website for the chain confirming this, showing that the Washington Street outlet has been removed from the site. With the closing of the Stoughton location, this means that the sole remaining Sonic in the local area is in Peabody, as others in Lawrence and Wilmington are no longer in business as well.

Sonic first opened in the Stoughton Town Center plaza in 2016, offering such items as burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, shakes, and more.
