A new sandwich shop is on its way to the South End of Boston, and the group behind it also operates three other concepts in the local area.
According to a post within the jobs section of bostonchefs.com, Sally's Sandwiches is opening on Tremont Street, with the listing saying that it will be a takeout shop that will be alongside the original location of Blackbird Doughnuts. Once it opens, the new eatery will join three Gallows Group spots including Blackbird (which also has locations in the Fenway, Allston-Brighton, and Cambridge's Harvard Square), The Gallows, and Banyan Bar + Refuge, with the latter two also being in the South End as well.
If all goes as planned, Sally's Sandwiches could be opening in late June, according to the job post.
It is not yet known what the exact address for Sally's Sandwiches will be at this point in time; the address for the adjacent Blackbird Doughnuts is 492 Tremont Street.
