A growing local group of ice cream shops will be expanding to a new location in the northern suburbs of Boston.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe is planning to open in Burlington, moving into a space at the 3rd Ave development where Wegman's and a number of restaurants reside. Once it opens, the new shop will join others in Gloucester, Salem, Peabody, and Dennis, and based on those locations, expect to see ice cream with unusual ingredients such as brown butter cornbread, apple pie, cinnamon churro dough, and pistachio baklava.
