R.F. O'Sullivan's in Somerville Is Changing Ownership

A Somerville pub that some consider to have the best burgers in the Greater Boston area is going to be under new ownership.

Based on information from a source and a phone call to the place, R.F. O'Sullivan's in Somerville is closing this week and is changing hands, though we have been told by two sources that the new owners plan to continue serving burgers and keep the existing staff while the name will apparently remain. We have also been told that Rich O'Sullivan will continue to run O'Sullivan's in Lynn while his father Richard is planning to retire.

R.F. O'Sullivan's first opened in Somerville 30 years ago, with our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) featuring it as a place to go for its wide variety of char-grilled meatball-shaped burgers. The review can be found at the following link:
