It looks like a suburban complex that includes multiple restaurant and bar concepts may be expanding to Boston.
According to a licensing board hearing page, Common Craft is looking to open near Andrew Square in South Boston, moving into a space on Damrell Street just off Old Colony Avenue. The notice mentions that the proposed spot would be on one floor and would include a restaurant with one main dining room and a bar along with an outdoor patio, and there would be private dining rooms as well.
The original Common Craft debuted at the Burlington Mall in 2022, with that location having several sections including a couple of taprooms, a cocktail bar, and a wine bar along with restaurant dining.
