Last month it was reported that a New Jersey-based chain of sub shops was opening a new outlet in the southern suburbs of Boston. Now we have learned that another location will be coming to the area as well, with this one opening northwest of the city.
A tweet from @BillericaGuy201 mentions (via @bedfordma) that Jersey Mike's Subs is planning to open in Bedford, moving into the space in the Blue Ribbon Plaza on Great Road that had been home to a Verizon Wireless store. Once it opens, the new outlet of the chain will join others in the local area in Beverly, Dedham, Quincy, and Swampscott, along with a soon-to-open location in Stoughton.
Jersey Mike's Subs, which started out in Point Pleasant, NJ, back in 1956, offers a variety of hot and cold subs including cheese steaks, tuna, Italians, and BLTs.
It appears that the address for the upcoming location of Jersey Mike's Subs in Bedford is 186 Great Road, Bedford, MA, 01730. The website for the chain can be found at https://ift.tt/1pt77QK
