Tawa Paneer Tikka is an easy and quick starter you can make without the fuss of a grill or other gadgets. This easy to make dish is a party starter that appeals to all.
I already have some handful of recipes for making this Paneer Tikka, I have grilled on a griller, Paneer Tikka Microwave version that is easy to make, plus regular stovetop versions that are made with different recipe preparations. This time when I made, I wanted to have some quick starters and decided to use very minimum ingredients and quickly roast it on tawa. I served both as such and then grilled over the flame. Everybody simply loved it and wanted more. This was the New year eve party starter for us and we all enjoyed the family time with these tikkas.
I used store bought paneer here as homemade ones are not so firm to hold themselves on a skewer. I used the long bamboo sticks, still, I didn’t want to take risks. The sticks very quite easy to use and the end result was awesome. Just got to be careful that you don’t burn the sticks for long.
We are starting the Feb BM#85 with Cooking on Tawa theme. While there are so many dishes we cook on a tawa, I was keen on doing dishes that are not so frequently cooked on Tawa.
Sending this to my Kid’s Delight event, guest hosted by Archana, themed on “Cooking on Tawa” for Kids.
