Jimmy's Pizzeria in Arlington Heights to Be Replaced by Nina Trattoria and Pizza

A pizza spot and sub shop in a northwest suburb of Boston that is full of pizza spots and sub shops is going to change into a brand new eatery with a new name.

The Arlington Advocate is reporting that Angelo Carbini--who is currently a waiter at the Florentine Cafe in the North End of Boston--is taking over Jimmy's Pizzeria in Arlington Heights and will replace it with a new spot called Nina Trattoria and Pizza. The article says that the 19-seat restaurant on Mass. Ave. will be open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday, serving house-made Italian items including antipasti (Prince Edward Island mussels and beef carpaccio will be two options), lobster ravioli in a vodka cream sauce, and veal saltimbocca, with freshly-made pastas being offered. Carbini has not yet applied for a liquor license, but he may do so in the future, according to the Advocate.

Jimmy's Pizzeria first opened its doors more than a decade ago.

The address for Jimmy's Pizzeria (and the upcoming Nina Trattoria and Pizza) is 1510 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA, 02476.
