A Somerville restaurant that went through a management change last year--and which was ordered closed earlier this year--has apparently shut down for good.
According to a Bluesky thread from @geoffjentry.bsky.social, The Cornerstone on Beacon Street appears to be gone, as its signs have been taken down, while phone calls indicate that the mailbox is full, and a Google search shows a "permanently closed" label. The restaurant replaced R.F. O'Sullivan & Son in 2023, then going under new management over the past summer before it went dark in January with a "Closed by the Board of Health" sign displayed in the doorway.
The address for The Cornerstone was 282 Beacon Street, Somerville, MA, 02143.
