An udon shop in Cambridge that once had a connection to a nearby ramen shop is expanding to the Boston waterfront.
According to an article from Eater Boston, Yume Ga Arukara in the Porter Exchange Building's food court is planning to open a second location in the Seaport District, moving into a space within The Superette, a retail, dining, and entertainment center on Seaport Boulevard that is currently under development. The post states that the new location will offer udon as well, though its menu will be expanded to include other Japanese dishes--including small, shareable plates--while drinks will include beer, wine, and sake. If all goes well, the new location of Yume Ga Arukara will open sometime in the winter.
One of the founders of the Cambridge location of Yume Ga Arukara (which opened in 2017) was also behind Yume Wo Katare on the other side of Porter Square in 2017, though the two dining spots no longer have an ownership connection.
