Last fall, it was learned that a well-known pastry chef was planning to open a pastry shop in Newton, and now we have learned that the place has indeed debuted.
According to a press release, SALT Patisserie in Piccadilly Square in Newton Centre is now open, with Thiago Silva (who has been a winner in the Food Network shows "Chopped" and "Dessert Games") being behind it. Silva--who was born in Brazil and raised in Queens--will offer such options as breads, chocolates, cakes, cookies, croissants, prepared items to-go, coffee, and more, though the menu is limited for now.
The address for SALT Patisserie is 792 Beacon Street, Newton Centre, MA, 02459. Its website is at https://ift.tt/6OTn9pa while its Instagram page is at https://ift.tt/l5NqXot
