Frank in Beverly to Expand to Assembly Row in Somerville

An award-winning chef is bringing his North Shore dining spot to Somerville.

According to a press release, Frank McClelland is planning to open Frank at Assembly Row, with the new location moving into a space next to the Row Hotel. The original location of Frank, which opened on Rantoul Street in Beverly in 2019, includes a restaurant, bakery-cafe, and market, and it debuted a year after McClelland closed down L'Espalier, a landmark French restaurant in Boston's Back Bay.

If all goes as planned, the new location of Frank could be opening later this fall.
