Farine Bakery to Open in Marblehead

The people behind a local bakery business that focuses on French breadmaking will be opening their very own shop on the North Shore.

According to a source (via an Instagram post from All Marblehead), Kathy and Laurent Dedieu of Farine are planning to open a brick-and-mortar store in Marblehead, moving into the space on Washington Street in the Old Town historic district that had been home to Drink Station. Based on what the couple sells at farmers markets and other popups, expect to see a variety of breads and baked goods including ancient grain bread, French baguette, brioche, croissants, chocolate vienna bread, and more. (Their website mentions that Laurent is a certified professional boulanger in France.)

If all goes as planned, Farine Bakery could be opening this spring.

The address for the upcoming brick-and-mortar location of Farine Bakery is 146 Washington Street, Marblehead, MA, 01945. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/cRlkeNr
