A couple of years ago, it was learned that an award-winning group of ramen spots was looking at a space in Cambridge, and now we have learned that the new location has very quietly debuted.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Menya Jiro is now open within the Crimson Galeria in Harvard Square, with a Facebook post from the business mentioning that its grand opening was on Wednesday, July 14. Two other locations of the Japan-based group of eateries are being planned for the local area as well, including one in Boston's Seaport District and another at Legacy Place in Dedham.
Menya Jiro is known for their build-your-own ramen dishes, and they have also won street ramen competitions in New York in the past.
The address for the new location of Menya Jiro at the Crimson Galeria in Harvard Square is 57 JFK Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. The website for the group of restaurants can be found at https://ift.tt/2OD9amX
