A space-themed diner that was one of countless restaurants to temporarily close last fall (but has continued to offer brunch service and host pop-ups) is now basically shutting down, though it will continue to be home to pop-ups for at least the time being.
According to a post from Universal Hub, Little Dipper in Jamaica Plain has decided to end its weekend brunch, with a Facebook post from the Centre Street spot saying the following:
...due to staffing and other challenges, the Little Dipper team will no longer be open for weekend brunch....While we plot a new course, our focus is on supporting the two amazing pop-up teams currently operating out of Little Dipper -- Comfort Kitchen and Be Okay Bagels. They will be using our fb and insta to keep you up to date on their menus and hours of operation. Both plan on opening their own brick-and-mortar restaurants; we urge you to support them, and wish them great success.
Little Dipper, which first opened in the summer of 2018, temporarily shuttered in mid-November of 2020, saying at the time that "It has not been an easy decision to make, but we see closing temporarily as our best option to survive the colder months of the pandemic."
The address for Little Dipper is 669a Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130.
