A new dining spot that features fried chicken is on its way to Allston, and it looks like it will be moving into the space where a tofu place had been.
According to a job post within the Craigslist site, Underdog Hot Chicken is opening on Brighton Avenue, with the address given in the listing being the same address as that of Kim's Tofu, which @GospelOfIHM said had its windows papered over as of a couple of months ago. The job post mentions that the upcoming eatery will offer fried chicken, though no specific details were given and there doesn't appear to be a website or any social media pages for the place as of yet.
Kim's Tofu first opened in the former Loui Loui/Cap't Loui space in the summer of 2019.
The address for the upcoming Underdog Hot Chicken is 160 Brighton Avenue, Allston, MA, 02134.
