A popular spot for roast beef sandwiches has opened back up more than two years after sustaining damage in a fire.
According to a poster within the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Royal Roast Beef and Seafood in East Boston reopened today, with a Facebook thread within the East Boston Open Discussion group confirming that the Bennington Street eatery is back and with the interior being redone. The roast beef joint shut down after being hit by a kitchen fire in the latter part of 2018 and has been shuttered ever since.
Royal Roast Beef, which first started out in East Boston in the early 1980s, has been known for its roast beef sandwiches along with a variety of other sandwiches, subs, and wraps, seafood plates, and grill items.
The address for Royal Roast Beef and Seafood in East Boston is 752 Bennington Street, East Boston, MA, 02128.
