A popular family restaurant in Quincy that is known for its old-school comfort food dishes is shutting down permanently.
According to a source, Grumpy White's on Sea Street is closing for good, with a Facebook post from the Everything Quincy Facebook group page mentioning this as well. A call placed to the restaurant confirms this, with the person we talked to telling us that its last day will be Saturday, November 21. Grumpy's White's has been known for its boneless fried chicken, stacks of grilled burgers, turkey dinner, chicken parmigiana, fish and chips, liver and onions, macaroni and cheese, steak tips, and more.
