Hopothecary Ales Plans to Open Brewery in North Reading

A beermaker that is based in Wilmington is planning to open a brewery in a neighboring town, and it may also include a brewpub and/or taproom as well.

A message sent to us from a source (Cheryl Fenton) indicates that Hopothecary Ales is planning to open a brewery in North Reading, with an Instagram post from the business indicating that it is teaming up with the people behind several restaurants in the local area. The post says that "We are pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with the owners of Dos Lobos/Joe Fish/The Loft to bring our brewery to North Reading. Our partner has years of restaurant experience and this allows our brewery to have a full kitchen." It is not yet known exactly what type of dining area the brewery might include within the facility, nor is it known what kind of food might be offered, so stay tuned for any updates as they come in.

If all goes as planned, Hopothecary Ales could be debuting its North Reading brewery in January of 2021.
