A cozy neighborhood spot in the South End that is known in part for its comfort food and beer has shut its doors.
According to a source, Coda on Columbus Avenue has closed permanently, with its closing apparently becoming official over the past day or two. It appears that The Salty Pig, a Back Bay restaurant and bar that is under the same ownership and is located on nearby Dartmouth Street, will remain in operation.
Coda first opened in 2007, taking over the space where Tim's Tavern had once been.
The address for Coda was 329 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA, 02116.
