No Yeast No Oven Pizza is an instant pizza that you can make home with your pantry ingredients even if you don’t have an oven. This thin crust pizza gets beautifully done in a tawa on stovetop.
As the recipe says, this pizza crust is made without yeast and the leavening agent used is Baking Powder and Baking Soda. I made this instant pizza in both oven and on stovetop and the crust works out best if you roll it into thin crust.
If you have noticed my 30 Minute Pizza dough, I had added oregano herb to the dough during knead. This gives an amazing flavour to the crust as well. So I followed the same
process of adding the herbs because in the recent check on the stocked ingredients, I found a whole bottle of herbs in the freezer that I had recently bought and completely forgot about it.
Can I use baking powder instead of yeast for pizza dough?
Today’s recipe is No Yeast, No Oven Pizza made with Baking Powder and Baking Soda. After the hurried 30 Minute Pizza, I had promised my boys for a meal and I decided making it for Saturday lunch will take care of it.
So I had set out to make 2 different recipes that would meet the requirement of no yeast, no oven and also no baking powder or soda. I made four different versions and baked the crust first so that I can quickly assemble when it was time for the lunch.
This No yeast No Oven Pizza was baked in Oven and also cooked on stovetop in Tawa. Its an Instant Pizza recipe and you can plan it and make it for a crowd as well! I am giving measurement for 1 medium Pizza recipe.
Does dough rise without yeast?
The dough made with baking powder and baking soda doesn’t rise as well in a dough made with yeast, however resting this dough for 10 minutes does make the dough soft and gets cooked well.

Ingredients Used to make No Yeast Pizza
In this easy No Yeast Pizza, I used Baking Powder and Baking Soda. I baked this in both Oven and on Stove top.
I used both Oregano and Rosemary in the dough and in the sauce.
Use warm water and warm milk for best results.
Since I was making the pizza for kids lunch, I decided to make the crust ahead and then assemble when it was ready for the meal.
So bake each crust for 10 to 15 mins and keep it ready.
Once assembled it only needs 5 mins to bake.
