Nachni chi Bhakri or Ragi Rotti is an Indian Flatbread made with Finger Millet. This is made similar way across India with just plain flour or with different vegetables.
I resorted to using the Marathi word for Finger Millet, as I couldn’t find anything else other than Ney pathiri / Neypathal, which I have already made. Patting this roti is little hard and turns out good with practice. This roti is good to be served with a spicy side dish. We normally serve it with Peanut Chutney.
I have few more flatbreads made with finger millets like Ragi Roti, Multigrain Masala Roti, Ragi Roti with peas and Mandua roti
So for N, it is Nachni Chi Bhakri in the AtoZ Flatbread and More, where I am doing AtoZ Indian Flatbreads. Hop over to check what I made for N in AtoZ Dosa Varieties.
