A bakery-cafe southwest of Boston that is up for a national award will be expanding to the northern suburbs.
The Daily Times Chronicle is reporting that Twist Bakery & Cafe in Millis is opening a second shop in Burlington, moving into the space on Second Avenue (within the 3rd Ave development) where Paul Bakery had been until closing in the summer of 2016. Twist, which was recently nominated by USA Today for best gluten-free bakery in the United States, offers baked goods, soups, salads, sandwiches, and more, with the focus being on the use of gluten-free, peanut-free, and mostly tree nut-free ingredients.
No specific opening date has been given as of yet for the new location of Twist Bakery & Cafe, so stay tuned for updates.
