Themes for BM # 86 will be the following:

Kid’s Delight theme ensures my Kid’s Delight event, guest hosted by other bloggers gets good entries. Since the event is 16th – 15th every month, we have two different themes happening for BM in a month. And you have the choice of doing two different themes.

Kid’s Delight – Chocolate Dishes (3,4,5 and 10,11,12)
Kid’s Delight – Travel Food (17,18,19 and 24,25,26)

Please note all entries for Kid’s Delight theme have to be kid approved. The dish can be either approved by your own kid, your young relatives, neighbors or even something that you enjoyed as a kid. Do remember to mention the age group of the kid, so that it becomes easy for others.

Kid’s Delight – Chocolate Dishes (3,4,5 and 10,11,12)

The 1st and 2nd weeks of March will be hosted by Kalyani,  themed on Chocolate Dishes. She is hosting the hat trick year with this theme and I am so glad that she chose this as it’s my kids favourite. She will be announcing the event on her blog by the 15th of February.

Kid’s Delight – Travel Food (17,18,19 and 24,25,26)

The 3rd and 4th week of March will be hosted by Jayashree, themed on Travel Food for Kids.  She will be announcing the event on her blog by the 15th of March.

All that come round are Laddos?

As the theme says, your final dish has to be in a Laddo shape. It can be our Indian Laddos or a different twist as well. It can be a savory too but not like Meatballs simmering in a gravy.  Wear your thinking caps and come up with some innovative dishes!

Stuffed Flatbreads from different Countries

The flatbread has to be stuffed, it can be sweet or a savory. You will have to have some accompaniment along with it in the picture and need to be from different countries. While we do have some regular Stuffed Indian Flatbreads, I will be glad if you do some research and pick up different ones from different countries.

Italian Sauces You Should Master

Learning and stocking some sauces will always help. You can feature some classic Italian Sauces, made from scratch as such or with a dish.

Indian Thalis/ International Spread

For this theme, each day can either feature an Indian Thali or an International Spread.
We are looking at dishes that complement each other and should be a traditional part of the region we are going to do.
One elaborate Thali with 6 to 7 dishes (can include pickle, curds etc).
Two Mini Thalis with 3 to 4 dishes (can include pickle, curds etc).
Again you can feature recipes that are already posted, with 1 or 3 new dishes that can be posted on that day.
Only 1 new post per day.
Some points to remember
You will have to showcase the entire thali/ Spread in the picture.
Share at least 1 new recipe for the day
The other dishes on the thali can be from your archives and can be linked up.
Though I have mentioned only 1 new recipe, I think if you want to do a separate post for the menu with 1 new recipe post, I am fine.
Ideally, you should be posting 3 thalis/spreads for this week. (meaning you can’t post the same thali/spread dishes for the next two BM days.)
If you have old thali menus that you made, with some dishes yet to be shared, you can use those, provided you make one New thali/spread for this March theme.

Festival/Occasions of the Month

Check out the festivals happening during March and cook three dishes!

Scandinavian Recipes

The cuisine of the Month is going to be Scandinavian. I have read so much about this country in Tintin and some references to the food. Exploring it will be fun.

Special Theme:

We have two themes for the 4th week. Please read the rules carefully.

Redo Old Posts

Do mandatory 2 weeks regular BM and you can do the 4th week with Redo your older posts theme. Please note, you will have to 2 mandatory BM themes to pick this up.

Regular Bookmarked

This the regular Bookmarks Theme.

You can either do bookmarks from your regular Bookmarks.

So do 3 weeks, pick up this 4th fourth of your own choice. It can be anything you bookmarked or your own.

Please spread the details if you want your friends to be part of this marathon.
