Foodie Alert: Shakey's Chicken 'N' Mojos at 40% off on Mondays

Most of us usually dread Mondays as it means having to wake up early again to beat the Monday morning rush. Thankfully, a world famous joint decided to make Monday a lot better and yummier by offering its bestselling chicken and mojos at 40% off! Yes, I'm talking about Shakey's.

I initially tried avail of the promo via delivery but I was told that it's only valid for dine-in transactions. Luckily, R was also in the mood for some Chicken 'N' Mojos so off we go to one of the nearest Shakey's.

Surprisingly, the branch we visited wasn't packed at all. With only three or four other tables occupied, we easily got a table and ordered a Family Pack of Chicken 'N' Mojos (PHP641) and tried its Lychee Slushie (PHP95) and a blue hued drink that I forgot to take note of.

First served were our drinks and I liked my lychee slush than R's blue drink. Though both were sweet, I liked the refreshing lychee flavor of mine. Definitely worth the extra twenty bucks from the other drink. 

It took around five more minutes before our chicken n mojos arrived with three small saucers of gravy. I didn't mind the small serving of gravy as I prefer mine with ketchup to offset or balance the saltiness of the chicken.

Though we were happy with the size of all seven chicken parts, we felt that there were not a lot of mojos in our basket. I think there were only around seven as well with two or three being so cute (meaning tiny). Maybe we should have ordered additional mojos on the side.

Nonetheless, it was an awesome deal! We got a basket of seven chicken pieces for only PHP385!
