A New York-based burger and shake place continues its expansion plans into the Boston area, with a new one now planned for an open-air retail center a short distance southwest of the city.
According to one of our readers, Shake Shack is going to be opening a new location at Legacy Place in Dedham, with a check on its Twitter page confirming this. Once it opens, this will either be the third or the fourth shop to come to the Boston area, depending on when its location on Newbury Street in the Back Bay opens (it looks like that one could open next spring, while the Dedham shop is planning to open in the middle of 2015).
Currently, two locations of Shake Shack can be found at The Street at Chestnut Hill and in Cambridge's Harvard Square.
