Joe's Coffee Shop in Hanover Has Closed

A South Shore eatery that has been around for a very long time has shut down.

According to a source, Joe's Coffee Shop in Hanover is no longer in business, with a Facebook post from the Whiting Street spot saying, "It is with great sadness that Joes Coffee Shop is officially closed! We would like to thank all our loyal customers for 66 years of supporting our shop. We enjoyed serving you! Thank you!" Joe's was a diner with a handful of counter seats and tables, being known for its classic breakfast dishes while also serving lunch items including soups, chowders, and sandwiches.

The address for the now-closed Joe's Coffee Shop was 346 Whiting Street, Hanover, MA, 02339.
