Last spring, it was reported that the people behind a butcher shop and a fish market would be opening a new shop near the Boston waterfront featuring products from both businesses, and now we have learned that it is up and running.
According to multiple sources, Boston Provisions Market is now open in the city's Seaport District, moving into a space on Boston Wharf Road just west of Fort Point. As mentioned in an earlier article, the shop offers items from Savenor's Butchery and Wulf's Fish, with the two businesses having an ownership connection (Wulf's Fish acquired Savenor's in 2024), and the shop offers such items as lamb, beef, pork, chicken, whitefish, shellfish, caviar, and more.
Savenor's, which dates back to the 1930s, has a shop in Cambridge while Wulf's Fish, which started out as a fish market in Boston in the 1920s, is located at the Boston Fish Pier.
The address for Boston Provisions Market is 1 Boston Wharf Road, Suite G, Boston, MA, 02210. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/ErxdYR7
