It looks like a Haitian/Caribbean restaurant is on its way to Jamaica Plain, and it will be taking over the space where a Dominican dining spot had been.
According to an article in the Jamaica Plain News, Fritay is planning to open on Centre Street in the former 100% Delicias Express space, with the post indicating that the word "Fritay" means fried foods, though a menu has not been seen for the upcoming eatery as of yet. 100% Delicias Express, which debuted in 2018, offered such items as mofongo and empanadas.
The address for the upcoming Fritay (and now-closed 100% Delicias Express) is 660A Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130.
