Last fall it was reported that a popular neighborhood spot in the North End of Boston had closed, and now we have confirmed that a new place that offers breakfast and lunch will open in its space.
According to an article from Boston Magazine along with several sources over the past few weeks, Sunny Girl is planning to open in the former Anthony's Cafe space on Commercial Street, with Mike & Patty's/Hot Box alum Jesse Rosen and the now-closed Good Life bar owner Peter Fiumara being behind the upcoming eatery. The post mentions that the dining spot will offer house-made English muffins, sandwiches, local coffee, and more, and if all goes well, it could be opening as soon as next month.
Anthony's Cafe was a cash-only place that was open for breakfast and lunch.
The address for the upcoming Sunny Girl is 252 Commercial Street, Boston, MA, 02109. Its Instagram page can be found at https://ift.tt/reELmQJ
