A popular diner in the southern suburbs of Boston is shutting down.
According to a source (Amanda Watts), Deag's Local Diner in Stoughton is getting ready to close its doors, with a Facebook post from the place saying the following:
To our amazing guests, After 336,966 eggs and 124,800 pounds of potatoes it is with great sadness that we are announcing Deags will be closing its doors after 5 years on March 26th. This will be our final day as a brick and mortar but not the end of Deags. We have decided not to renew our lease here but Joe will continue working the food truck and catering. He will be working out of the Easton Country Club booking catering events and getting the food truck prepped for parties.
Deag's has been known in part for its breakfast dishes including chicken and waffles, breakfast burritos, linguica, egg, and cheese on a Portuguese muffin, a lox and bagel platter, crab cake benedict, eggs with seared pork belly, and cinnamon bun pancakes.
The address for Deag's Local Diner is 1261 Park Street, Stoughton, MA, 02072. Its website can be found at https://deagsdiner.com/
