A brewery with two locations west of Boston has closed one of its spaces, though a new location is in the works.
Based on a tweet from @maynardbrewer and confirmed by a Facebook post from the business, Bull Spit Brewing Company has shut down its brewhouse, restaurant, and taproom in Maynard, with the post indicating that because of its plans to open a new facility in Winchendon, they have decided to close the space at Mill & Main (formerly Clock Tower Place). The post on Facebook also says that "Maynard was intended to be a temporary avenue for us to grow our brand while the environmental process of Winchendon was being completed." The upcoming Winchendon outlet will apparently open at the site of an old mill building and will include a brewery, winery, and distillery along with what looks to be an indoor and outdoor dining/drinking space (the name "the Bull Yard" is mentioned in the post).
The Maynard location of Bull Spit first opened last February, joining the original location in Lancaster (whose focus is on production and retail sales).
The address for the now-closed Bull Spit space in Maynard was 20 Sudbury Street, Maynard, MA, 01754. The website for the business is at https://ift.tt/FSqAwti
