A brand new Japanese restaurant is on its way to Chestnut Hill.
According to a post within the jobs section of bostonchefs.com, XOXO Sushi Bar is planning to open this winter, with the spot featuring "top of the line modern Japanese cuisine, fun and innovative creative cocktails, wine, beer & sake mixed with a fantastic experience and atmosphere." The corresponding map for the place shows Misono, a Japanese and Korean restaurant and sushi bar in West Roxbury, so it may be taking over that space, though if we find any additional updates on its exact location, we will post an update here.
The address for Misono (and possibly, XOXO Sushi Bar) is 669 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury (Chestnut Hill), MA, 02467.
