A brand new tearoom is on its way to the heart of Boston.
According to a job post within the Craigslist website, Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is planning to open on Tremont Street in the Downtown Crossing area across from Center Plaza, with the spot having 24 seats and offering pastries, baked goods, and sandwiches. The website for Silver Dove shows Patrick Brewster as the General Manager and Lee Morgan as the Director of Operations; both Brewster and Morgan have been involved in the local bar/cocktail scene, including the two of them being alums of Drink in Fort Point.
If all goes as planned, Silver Dove Afternoon Tea will open in the early part of 2023.
