A bubble tea chain with roots overseas is planning to open a new location locally, with this one coming to downtown Boston.
A message sent by Adam Castiglioni of the Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog indicates that Vivi Bubble Tea is opening in the city's Theater District, taking over the space on Tremont Street that had been home to a location of the Subway chain. Once it opens, the new outlet of Vivi Bubble tea will join others in the Back Bay/Fenway area, Brighton, and North Quincy, and it could be featuring such options as popcorn chicken, noodle soup, rice bowls, and more in addition to bubble tea.
The address for the upcoming location of Vivi Tea in the Theater District is 230 Tremont Street, Boston, MA, 02116.
