A Washington, D.C.-based pizza chain has closed its only Boston-area location, though a New York-based bakery within the space is still open, at least for the time being.
According to an article from Cambridge Day, &pizza in Harvard Square is no longer in business, with a worker at the place saying that the staff was told on Monday that it had closed for good. Milk Bar, which also occupies the space, remains in operation, though it is not yet known what this might mean for its future, if anything.
&pizza and Milk Bar first opened in the former Tory Row/Crimson Corner space in the early pat of 2019. (Crimson Corner had moved to a storefront nearby but closed permanently last spring.)
The address for the now-closed &pizza (and Milk Bar, which remains open) is 1-3 Brattle Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138.
