An Italian bakery and cafe in Dorchester has shut down.
According to multiple sources, including @dlenares, Caffe Zia Gianna on Dorchester Avenue is no longer in business, with an Instagram post from the place saying that owner Nino Barbalace has "made the difficult decision to close Zia Gianna and explore other opportunities." The bakery and cafe first opened in the fall of 2017 in the former Dot 2 Dot Cafe space, offering breakfast, brunch, and lunch items along with cocktails, coffee, tea, baked goods, and pastries.
The address for the now-closed Caffe Zia Gianna was 1739 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA, 02124.
