Earlier this year, it was reported that an old-fashioned diner in Allston was closing but the plan was to return to a new location. Now we have confirmed where it is reopening.
An Instagram post from the place confirms what we had been told earlier by someone in the restaurant industry, that The Breakfast Club is opening back up in a new space in Malden, with the Main Street address indicating that it is replacing the Doo Wop Diner just south of Route 60 and the downtown area. (This has been confirmed by Neighborhood View.) The Breakfast Club had previously mentioned on social media that while it was leaving its space on Western Avenue in Allston on January 31, it said that "This isn't goodbye, it's see you soon and we can't wait to share more about what is in store for The Breakfast Club in the near future."
The Breakfast Club first opened in Allston more than 20 years ago.
The address for the new location of The Breakfast Club is 269 Main Street, Malden, MA, 02148.
