A lunchtime breakfast and lunch spot that was popular with office workers, students, and locals alike has shut down.
According to a tweet from @jenyp, the High Spot Deli in Beacon Hill is no longer in business, with a note out front at the Beacon Street eatery thanking customers for their support over the years. No reason was given for its closure, nor is it known what might go into the space, so keep checking back for updates.
The High Spot Deli offered such items as omelets, soups, salads, sandwiches, pizza, and steak tips, with much of its clientele coming from Suffolk University, the State House, downtown offices, and residents of Beacon Hill.
The address for the High Spot Deli was 10 Beacon Street, Boston, MA, 02108.
Thanks to @dcopewbz and @LokayFOX5 for initially bringing this to our attention.
