Several months ago, it was reported that a Connecticut-based group of Asian restaurants was planning to expand to Brookline. Now we have learned that their expansion plans may include a Boston location as well.
According to a licensing board page within the city's website. Mecha Noodle Bar is planning to open in the Fort Point neighborhood, with the notice indicating that it would open on Thomson Place near where Fort Point and the Seaport District meet. The notice mentions that the proposed spot is seeking a full liquor license, and that it would include a dining area, bar seating, and mezzanine level seating.
Mecha Noodle Bar, which started out in 2011 and focuses on noodle dishes with Southeast Asian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean influences, currently has five locations in Connecticut; back in June, it looked like another outlet might be coming to Harvard Street in Coolidge Corner, though very little additional information has been given on that location over the past few months.
The address for the proposed location of Mecha Noodle Bar in Fort Point is 44 Thomson Place, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for all locations be found at https://ift.tt/3xNJWG4
