A neighborhood dive bar in Cambridge that has been serving drinks to locals for nearly 90 years will be serving food (at least for today) as well.
A message sent by Leah Klein of City Living Boston indicates that Paddy's Lunch on Walden Street will be hosting a popup starting at 4:00 PM featuring Pigpen's BBQ, with a Facebook events page indicating that pulled pork and brisket sandwiches will be offered until they run out. Paddy's, which first opened back in 1934, has been known over the years as a place to get a drink but has rarely offered food; whether popups will continue to bring the addition of food to the bar on at least a semi-regular basis is not known just yet, so stay tuned for updates.
The address for Paddy's Lunch is 260 Walden Street, Cambridge, MA, 02138. Its website can be found at https://paddys34.com/ (The Facebook page for Pigpen's BBQ, which is a mobile BBQ pit that focuses on popups, is at https://ift.tt/3gwnP0X)
