It looks like another new location of an award-winning group of ramen spots could be coming to the Greater Boston area, with this one being on the waterfront.
According to a notice within the fortpointboston.com site, Menya Jiro is looking to open in Boston's Seaport District, moving into a space on Northern Avenue. The page mentions a neighborhood gathering/meeting from late last month that was presumably held to give information on the restaurant's plans, including a request for a beer and wine license.
Menya Jiro, which currently has locations in New York City and Japan, is also planning to open at Legacy Place in Dedham later this year, and another outlet was possibly going to be coming to Harvard Square in Cambridge, though no news about that location has been given of late. The restaurants are known for their build-your-own ramen dishes while they have also won street ramen competitions in New York in the past.
The address for the proposed Menya Jiro in the Seaport District is 50 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for Menya Jiro is at https://menyajiro.com/
