A pop-up business that focuses on "Asian-inspired" BBQ dishes is planning to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Cambridge, and it would be moving into the space where a farm-to-table spot currently resides--and which plans to move to a new spot.
According to a Cambridge License Commission page, Judy's Bay is looking to open on Broadway in the Bondir space, with a message sent to us indicating that Bondir is planning to open in a larger (and as-of-yet undisclosed) space. The new eatery is seeking a full liquor license for the space, which would have seating for 28 inside and another 12 on an outdoor patio, and based on the offerings at its pop-ups, the menu could include ribs, pulled pork, and other barbecue items with Asian influences.
The address for Bondir (and the proposed brick-and-mortar location of Judy's Bay) is 279A Broadway, Cambridge, MA, 02139.
Thanks to Cambridge Day for initially bringing this to our attention.
