A dining and drinking spot in Roxbury that is known for its bar bites and cocktails is looking to expand to another part of Boston.
According to a source, Top Mix Bar & Kitchen is planning to open in the former Frogmore space in Jamaica Plain, with a sign out front at the Centre Street storefront indicating that the new place hopes to have a full liquor license while offering live entertainment (for up to three performers), and a seasonal outdoor patio would be set up with 20 seats. The original location of Top Mix first opened in 2017, taking over a space on Norfolk Avenue just north of Upham's Corner (and just south of Newmarket Square and the South Bay Center).
An article from the Jamaica Plain News that was posted earlier this morning mentions that the Jamaica Plain location of Top Mix would feature "a distinct American-Caribbean fusion menu," with the plan being to open in the second quarter of this year.
The address for the proposed location of Top Mix Bar & Kitchen in Jamaica Plain is 365 Centre Street, Jamaica Plain, MA, 02130. The website for the original location in Roxbury can be found at https://ift.tt/2zAhd9X
