Snappy Kitchen and Punjabi Grill in Somerville's Davis Square Appear to Have Closed

It looks like a pair of Somerville restaurants that are located next to each other are no longer in business.

According to a source (Ron Newman), Snappy Kitchen and Punjabi Grill in Davis Square are locked up and dark, with a check on both spaces over the weekend indicating that the two Elm Street storefronts appear to be cleared out and empty with their signs down. No specific information about their closures can be found online, with Google searches for Snappy Kitchen and Punjabi Grill simply showing them listed as permanently closed and temporarily closed, respectively.

Snappy Kitchen, which debuted in 2017, offered such items as sushi and ramen, while Punjabi Grill, which first opened in 2012, featured a variety of Indian and Pakistani dishes.

The address for Snappy Kitchen was 234 Elm Street while the address for Punjabi Grill was 236 Elm Street.
