It looks like an Irish pub will soon also be home to a pizza spot.
According to a source, Wood Fired Love is taking up residence within The Squealing Pig space in the Mission Hill/Brigham Circle section of Boston, with an Instagram page for the pizza spot indicating that it will be opening soon and that Galleon Ventures--which is behind The Squealing Pig--is indeed the group behind the upcoming spot. A message from the restaurant group tells us that Wood Fired Love and The Squealing Pig will be sharing the space and that the pizza will be available for curbside pickup and delivery at the start (the plan is to open by the end of this month).
Another location of The Squealing Pig in West Roxbury closed down last summer, with its other location in Provincetown remaining in operation, though we hear that that space is apparently being redone, though no details have been given as of yet.
The address for the upcoming Wood Fired Love (and The Squealing Pig) in the Mission Hill/Brigham Circle area is 134 Smith Street, Boston, MA, 02120.
