A bar in downtown Boston that replaced a well-known watering hole a few years ago is shutting down for at least a little while.
According to an article in The Berkeley Beacon, 4th Wall Restaurant & Bar on Tremont Street in the Theater District has closed temporarily, with general manager Diky Melville saying of the closure, "It's weird....It's like the last day of school." The hope is that the dining and drinking spot can reopen around the end of February, though no specific reopening date has been given as of yet.
4th Wall, which took over the former Intermission Tavern space in the summer of 2018, is one of countless restaurants and bars in Boston and elsewhere to temporarily close due to the pandemic and its effects on the industry.
The address for 4th Wall Restaurant & Bar is 228 Tremont Street, Boston, MA, 02116. Its website can be found at https://ift.tt/2NhEGIL
