Coppersmith, Porto, State Park Announce Plans to Close for the Time Being

At least three more Boston-area dining spots have made plans to close for now as the pandemic continues to surge in the local area.

According to a few different sources, Coppersmith in South Boston, Porto in Boston's Back Bay, and State Park in Cambridge's Kendall Square have announced that they are shutting down for the time being, with Caught in Southie indicating that Coppersmith is now closed and hopes to reopen in mid-February, a message from Adam Castiglioni saying that Porto will be open on New Year's Eve and then will go on a hiatus for the winter (we have been told by the restaurant that it plans to reopen in the early spring), and a Facebook post from State Park saying that it will shut down after business hours on December 31 and remain closed for the rest of the winter.
