Common Ground Bar and Grill in Arlington Is for Lease

It looks like the future of an Arlington gastropub is very much in doubt.

A check on the space last night indicates that Common Ground Bar and Grill at Broadway Plaza is for lease, with a sign out front showing a phone number to call for those interested in the space. "For Lease" signs don't necessarily mean that a restaurant has definitely closed--especially in this environment as The Local in West Newton has proved--but we have also been told by a businessperson in Arlington Center that they Common Ground not be reopening.

Common Ground first opened in Arlington in 2014, joining its original location in Allston. (The Allston location shut down last year.)

The address for the Common Ground space in Arlington Center is 319 Broadway, Arlington, MA, 02474.
